The Drop Of Doom

Hello viewers In this weeks writing we had to look at a picture the teacher put up and it was like a little girl falling into a dark endless hole we had to think about what the little girl can hear, taste, feel, smell, feels in emotions and see. It was really hard to plan it out in a very small picture because it does not show anything else and you also had to add a ending. It could be as creative as you want so I did something that probably no one will expect and i think you will like it. after that we had to write a couple paragraphs about our story then we got it checked and we typed it out on our Chromebook. Drop of doom

Elsa was a nice kid but when it comes to dares she can be EVIL. She and her sister Anna were playing I dare you, Anna won and dared Elsa to jump in a hole. “It can’t be that deep right?” Elsa said, then she jumped after a few seconds she realized how deep it was, she immediately screamed for help but it was no use she started to get a grip on the rusty wood and it ended up cutting her skin. She saw the light at the top. As it got smaller she thought she was gonna die so she closed her eyes and thought about her family, Anna and some memories in her life. Then a piece of wood hit her then she opened her eyes and a piece of book caught her attention then she looked around there it was full of books by now she thought it was a never ending drop. After 20 mins bugs started to crawl on her. It was slimy and it went up her spine and she got the chills and she slapped her own back to try to kill it. She could smell the dead creatures around her. It smelt like rotten flesh as she imagined and She could feel her heart thumping 1,000 thumps per second. She managed to catch one of the books and started reading it. It was about the knowledge of ancient times. It's been about 6 hours since she had seen grass and her sister then seconds later she landed softly and she felt like there was no gravity and there was no gravity. It was a marshmallow land and it was filled with marshmallows. She opened her mouth and marshmallows went in her mouth. It was like she was in a dream until she heard a voice in her mind and it was her sister's voice Anna. She was confused then she felt something weird, then suddenly she woke up in a not so deep hole. It was the exact same spot of the deep hole she was confused but the hoped out and they went home and it was only 3:30 just after school but in the dream it felt like hours then she promised herself to never get close to the not so deep hole again and they never, ever, EVER played I dare you again and they lived happily ever after.

Camping reading

Hello Viewers This weeks reading we are reading about camping because next we we are going camping! This weeks WALT is making meaning of extended texts The first create task is do a reading map with our teacher. All of us did it but we did not need to blog it. We just had to draw some stuff where it says. The second create task was to make our bunk room labels again we cant blog it but it is at the teacher and for camp we will stick in on our bunk which was a fun touch to our cabin. My favorite part was the bunk labels because you can get as creative as you want and I created a WWll themed style and it was sick I added cool things it may no be the realistic but I like it. The last create task was to make a piktochart and go a a site to get some facts, 10 facts to be exact it was really hard I manged to do 9 facts the last one just could no fit.

kupu and the Giant wheke

 This weeks reading work is about Moari myth and legends. The WALT is analyse and evaluate actions and the story line of Moari myths and legends. This week I read the book kupu and the Giant wheke because it sounded like a cool book. our first create task was to get a sheet and describe what happened in your story you will see what I mean once I show you. then we had to write the reason why about a statement and my statement was Kupe’s problems with the wheke could have been resolved without violence. We had to write 3 statements and It was really hard for me and my favorite part well it not a part it just the story I was interesting and cool and the video was also quite cool. But what I hate was when we had to come up with 3 statements. Then we had to do a story map about what our story was about for example the setting, the problem, the action, etc. This was also quite fun because we can describe what was in the story and what happened and what they need to do to fix it but anyways I hope you enjoy looking as much as I do and hopefully next week will be much more better enjoy!

Poetry Anthology

Hello viewers this week in writing we started writing poems which is quite different but it was fun we did 10 poems and it took us a couple weeks but we manged and to be honest getting a idea of these poems was quite hard but my favorite poems were my countdown, mood and acrostic I thought it was easy because you can get a idea very fast. But the poem I struggles the most is tongue twister and limerick poem. it was so hard to find a rhyming word and if you find one you need to find another one so I found that one hard. the one I did the fastest is Cinquains poem we just had to describe someone or something and I knew exactly who to do MY BROTHER I know just about everything about him. At the start when the teacher said we were doing poems I was like OH NO because i hated writing things and making up things our self but then after doing all of this I learnt lots of things like rhyming and other stuff so now I enjoyed it i hope you had fun reading a learning as much as  do enjoy my slide show of poems!

And there is my slideshow of all the poems we had to create by yourself you can create one its super fun and funny to create but I better get going bye!

Olympic reading

 Hello viewers and in this weeks blog was the same as last week but we had to choose a different Olympians and since I only watched tables tennis I watched him so i said to my self why not choose him. anyways this weeks WALT is locate and summarize important info from a range of related texts. the first create task is to choose I Olympian and then write info about him.

The second create task is typing fact about the country you choose for Olympics I choose china because it is my home country and I want to learn some facts about my country and some cool things my country did the in Olympics we had to write 20 facts at first but then we just had to blog it so I did about 15 or so facts abut china Olympics. hopefully you lean something like I did in the Olympics did this on a google drawing I really enjoyed doing this and researching about china and what they competed in the Olympics. it was really sad to watch that china came second in Olympics but it is what it is can't complain. this was quite hard trying to get 20 facts about china because you really can't think of any facts the first couple is just the one I know and then the other ones was of of google. I learnt lots and I hope you learn lots as well you can check other people blogs from my school and hopefully they did another country.
